Registering Prisoners

It is unbelievable that in a couple of different states that prisoners in prisons and jails are being registered to vote. Once they are registered they can vote by absentee ballots. It is bad enough that this is happening, but what makes it that much worse is that prison and jail personnel are spending tax payers time to do it.
There is even a county here in North Carolina, that this happened. The sheriff was quoted in a local paper saying that he and his staff had been working for about three weeks to allow people in jail to vote. The Sheriff worked with the head of the county NAACP on this project and the prisoners were allowed to vote today Tuesday(10/21) by absentee ballot. * Just in case if you were wondering, the jail registration total according to the newspaper was 95% Democrat and 5% Republican.

That sheriff should be fired ! He and his people should be trying to put people in jail instead of catering to them. What if these votes cost someone an election? He should be held liable.
